DESCRIPTION:This Saturday, March 19, 2022, the Joint Trade Union Movement (JTUM) is making the call to all BIGWU members to come out and be present at the Palmiste Park, Palmiste, along with other member units of the Joint Trade Union Movement, as we UNITE TO FIGHT.\nAt the Palmiste Park on Saturday afternoon from 1:30 pm, various Trade Union Leaders, Religious Leaders, and Social Activists will deliver remarks on a number of challenges that are directly facing workers and citizens of Trinidad and Tobago. Some of the speaking points to be covered include:\n\nAgainst the implementation of forced vaccinations\nOutstanding negotiations (especially at state-owned agencies)\nThe implementation of a 0/0/0 in Collective Agreements\nThe delayed processing in concluding Recognised Majority Union (RMU) applications\nWorkers who are not being paid under quarantine and/or isolation periods\nLack of collaboration between Unions and Employers on addressing matters related to COVID-19, and\nGovernment Bureaucracy\n\nSaturday, March 19, 2022, at Palmiste Park, Palmiste from 1:30 pm, come out and support your Union and the Joint Trade Union Movement as we UNITE TO FIGHT!\n
